How do I request a book? - Step 1
First you need to locate a book that you'd like to request. Already found the book you're looking for?
Scroll up to the top of the page below and press the
button.
(Make sure to use the button on the page below and not the picture I just showed you.)
Haven't located a book yet? Click Here to learn how to search for a book.
Once you've completed the steps above click Here to continue, or if you'd like you may Go Back To the Beginning.
How do I request a book? - Step 2
If you haven't logged in yet, you should have a login page below.
If you don't have a login page below, disregard this page and go ahead and move to the next step.
On the right side of the page below, fill in your name in the field marked Your Name
Below that, in the field marked Barcode, type in the barcode found on the back of your library card
.
If you don't have your library card with you, call a librarian for help.
Once you've done all that, click the
button below, and then you may Move to the Next Step or if you'd like you may Go Back One Step
How do I request a book? - Step 3
If everything went correctly you should be looking at a Request Verification page.
Here, you specify where you'd like to pick up the book by clicking the down arrow on the right side of the dropdown box.
If the box already contains the right location, don't change anything!
Also, if you like, you may specify an expiration date for your hold. However, you're not required to.
Once you've done all that, click the
button below and then you may Move to the Next Step or if you'd like you may Go Back One Step
How do I request a book? - Step 4
If all went well, the page below should tell you that your hold was successful.
Keep in mind that some books may be unavailable to be placed on hold.
New books, for example, often are not available for holds.
Before you leave this page, make sure to press Log Out at the right side on the top of the page below.
