    Books for the Homebound

    The Friends of the Library has volunteers who administer the Books To Your Door program. They deliver library materials to homebound people who are unable to visit the library. Application forms are available in the library, or through the mail by calling 224-2539.

    Wheelchair

    The library owns a wheelchair which is available for use while you are in the library.

    Visual Impairment

    OPTELEC:
    A magnification machine that magnifies text and images is available on the main level. It may be adjusted for different background color.

    MAGNIFYING COMPUTER:
    ZoomText Magnifier and Screen Reader is installed on one of the reference computers. It provides integrated magnification and screen reading.

    LIBRARY MATERIALS:
    The library offers both large print books and recorded books on cassette and CD.

    The Tennessee Relay Service (state.tn.us/tra/relaycenter) will take calls from the deaf, blind, or speech impaired persons using TTY, Braille machine or regular phone and relay the calls to the library and our responses to the patron.
