Bacon, Fulkerson, and Moore Families Papers, 1927-1945

ABSTRACT:
This collection contains records relating to Edith and Ruby Irene Bacon, Paul Fulkerson, and their families.  Ruby Irene Bacon graduated from Dobyns-Bennett in 1927.  The collection includes her diploma and World War II ration books that belonged to her and her husband, Mackenzie Moore, as well as Mackenzie’s draft classification cards and an award pendant.  Edith Bacon graduated in 1930 as class valedictorian.  Her valedictorian speech, as well as a letter commending her on it from J. Fred Johnson, is in the collection.  In addition, there are Dobyns-Bennett High School memorabilia and World War II ration stamps and booklet belonging to Edith and her husband Paul Fulkerson.
