HISTORICAL NOTE

The Circle Cash Market was opened on March 15, 1946. The neighborhood store was owned and operated by James and Marie Catron. The market was later sold to the Poston family and renamed Poston’s. The building was torn down July 2008.

 

SCOPE AND CONTENT

The collection contains three photographs taken of the Catron family at the Circle Cash Market located at Upper Brooks Circle.
