ABSTRACT:
The Circle Churches Christmas Foundation, Inc. collection consists of the organization’s by-laws and minutes from the summer of 1966.  “The purpose of this corporation [was] to receive and administer funds for a Christian nativity scene in the area of church circle on Broad Street in the city of Kingsport,” Tennessee.  The organization’s directors came from the four circle churches: First Baptist, First Presbyterian, Broad Street Methodist, and First Methodist.  The nativity scene’s first figures were purchased from the Silvestri Art Manufacturing Company.
