Easley Family Photographs, 1920s-1940s

ABSTRACT:
This collection includes photographs taken from a scrapbook maintained by the Easley family of Kingsport, Tennessee.  Among the images are several pictures of family members at Kingsport landmarks such as Rotherwood Bridge, the former Dye and Chemical Plant, and the Kingsport bus terminal.  Other photographs include two relatives that served as Kingsport Telephone operators in the early 1920s, a picture of a Clayton Transportation Company taxicab on Broad Street in 1921, and group photographs of employees at Holston Ordinance Works during the mid-1940s along with an elementary school showing 39 people including Ray Hale, Ruby Ratliffe, Josephine Easley, and Principal Lewis Chase.
