ABSTRACT:
The Federal Dyestuff and Chemical Corporation Photographs consists of two images showing the plant in Kingsport, Tennessee.  The corporation was incorporated on 4 October 1915.  In 1918, the company was sold and renamed Union Dye and Chemical Corporation.  The business did not fare well following World War I and went bankrupt in 1921.  The plant was located near the current intersection of Lincoln   Street and North Wilcox Drive.
