Provenance: Initial donation of materials was made by Tom and Dyanne King in August 1998.  Additional materials were contributed by Betty Casey in April 1999 and by Betty Iverson in February 2009.

Processed by: Kate Lukach, archival assistant, processed the collection and developed a finding aid in June 2008. Additions to the finding aid were made in February 2009 by Brianne Wright.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

This collection consists mostly of scrapbooks created by the Holston Valley Medical Center Auxiliary.  Also included are various documents pertaining to the Hospital and the Auxiliary, as well as framed lists of members of the group.  The collection is divided into two series: subject files and scrapbooks.  The subject files are arranged alphabetically by subject, and the scrapbooks are in chronological order.

Series I, Subject Files, c.1949-2009 and undated, boxes 1-3.

This series contains documents pertaining to the Holston Valley Medical Center Auxiliary, as well as framed lists of Life Members.  The series is arranged alphabetically, with oversized items placed at the end of the series in separate boxes.

 

Series II, Scrapbooks, 1966-1995, boxes 4-14.

This series contains scrapbooks created by the Holston Valley Medical Center Auxiliary.  The scrapbooks are arranged chronologically.
