ABSTRACT:
The Lt. Col. David E. Fowler Documents collection consists of 3 rolls of microfilm of papers from Fowler’s field desk, which he carried while serving as the Commissary Chief of Field Operations with the Union Army of the Potomac, Army of the Cumberland.  In this capacity Fowler traveled to Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina during the War Between the States.  The original papers are held by the Netherland Inn Museum in their document collection.
