ABSTRACT:
The Marvin C. Simpson, Jr. Collection of Souvenir Boxes consists of one souvenir box, one duplicate, and one incomplete set.  The Kingsport Rotary Club produced the souvenir box in recognition of the area’s primary industries.  One of the boxes was purchased in 1931 at J. Fred Johnson’s “Big Store.”  The boxes contain samples of the wares produced by each company.
