Mattie Jennings Collection, 1912-1940s

ABSTRACT:
The collection contains photographs and documents donated by Mattie Jennings.  The report cards, dating from 1912-1914, are from Salem School in Sullivan County and belonged to Hazel Grace Lessley.  Photographs are mainly of the Tennessee Eastman Company, including one showing the TEC Baseball Team and two of the Climax Engine # 12 log train.  Other photographs include a picture of the interior of an unidentified Eastman building, dated 1942, a photograph of Kingsport Press employees from the 1920s, and a picture of Lynn Garden School students from the 1920s.
