ABSTRACT:
The Evelyn Sandusky Collection consists of materials related primarily to her tenure as principal at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School in Kingsport, Tennessee.  Sandusky became the school’s principal in 1945 following several years teaching and administrative experience in Somerset, Kentucky.  She remained principal until her retirement during 1973.  Materials included in the collection consist of clippings, correspondence, photographs, histories, PTA yearbooks, a scrapbook, and other items.  Most materials were created between the 1950s and the early 1970s.
