BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL NOTE

The American Freedom Train was an exhibit train that toured the United States in 1947-1949 and again in 1975-1976. The 1975-1976 excursion was to celebrate the United States Bicentennial. The train toured to the 48 contiguous states with displays of American and historical artifacts.
