ABSTRACT
The United Daughters of the Confederacy, King’s Boatyard Chapter No. 2493 collection contains five scrapbooks dating from the chapter’s founding in April 1985 through 2000. These scrapbooks contain clippings, photographs, meeting minutes, and biographies of confederate soldiers. The Collection also includes the chapter’s 1985 charter, a plaque inscribed “United Daughters of the Confederacy: King’s Boatyard Chapter #2493” and a “UDC” embroidered door hanger.
