How To Get A Card

How do I get a card?

If you are 18 or over, live within the City of Kingsport, Sullivan County or Hawkins County, you can submit an application online below or come to the library to fill out the application. If you live outside these areas, you must come to the library to fill out an application. There is no annual fee for having a card.

If you are younger than 18, you must apply in person at the library with your parent or legal guardian who will sign your application.

Before you can receive your library card, you must come to the library and show library staff a current photo ID and one item you have received in the mail at your current address.
