Catalog PIN & New Automation System

Trying to log into our new catalog and wondering what your PIN is? You still enter the barcode on the back of your library card as user, but your PIN is your last name. You can change this once you log into your account, if you want to.  The library is changing to a new automation system. The library looks forward to providing you with new and improved services such as: paying fines and fees with credit/debit cards, receiving texts for holds and overdues, opt-in to keep your reading history, receive checkout receipts via email, and more user-friendly catalog experience.  If you have been using the library’s app – Boopsie – that is being replaced by a new app that is free.  More information will be provided about that in the coming weeks.  The catalog will still be a combined catalog with the same area public libraries and the courier will still transport books to and from these libraries.  Any items needed from ETSU or Northeast State will need to be requested from the library’s reference staff via Inter-library Loan.
