ABSTRACT:
This collection consists of one image of Barger’s Tourist Camp and Sandwich Shop taken by photographer Ralph Lee during 1942. The image appears staged and shows three people delivering drinks to people in cars. Advertising signs for Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola are visible along with the sandwich building a section of one cabin. Barger’s Tourist Camp was located on Chestnut Ridge near Kingsport, Tennessee. This 8×10 inch image is a high-resolution copy of an original print.
