ABSTRACT:
The Elery Lay collection consists of typewritten and handwritten copies of Lay’s manuscript: “A Commercial and Industrial History of the Tri-Cities in Tennessee-Virginia.”  There is also a typewritten manuscript for Lay’s earlier work titled “An Industrial and Commercial History of the Tri-Cities in Tennessee.”
