Music Materials, 1927-1989 (not inclusive)

KC Manuscript Collection 188

This collection of music materials consists of programs, a history, and sheet music with accompanying lyrics created between 1927 and 1989.  Programs are from piano and flute recitals conducted during 1943 and 1970.  Music and lyrics are from Wallace Boyd, Jr.’s I Get a Kick Out of Kingsport written in 1989.  The history on the Kingsport Concert Band was written in 1927 and covers the organization from its founding through the middle of the 1920s.

There are no restrictions on use of this collection for research purposes. The researcher assumes full responsibility for observing all copyright, property, and libel laws as they apply.
