Ridgefields Promotion Flyer, 1951

KC Manuscript Collection 183

ABSTRACT:
The Ridgefields Promotion Flyer was produced by Bennett and Edwards, Inc. to publicize the sale of lots in the Ridgefields neighborhood of Kingsport, Tennessee.  According to the piece, “the Ridgefields idea started in 1940 in the minds of the Edwards brothers who could foresee the need for a well-planned and wisely restricted residential community near busy Kingsport.”  In additional to promotional text, the flyer has one aerial view plus images of four of the neighborhood’s first homes and some information concerning the development of Ridgefields Country Club.
