ABSTRACT:                                                                                                                   

 The State of Tennessee vs. Fred Bowen Collection contains the trial transcripts from the criminal trial of Fred Bowen, accused of the rape and murder of twelve-year old Betty Jean Necessary on February 26, 1970. Fred Bowen was accused, tried, and convicted of the crime. The collection consists of eight volumes of trial transcript.
