ABSTRACT:
The Tennessee Inspection Bureau’s “Town Report of Kingsport Tennessee” is a four page report based on an inspection of the town conducted on March 21, 1917. The report deals with issues such as water supply, fire safety, and street conditions. Additionally, the report can be mined for other interesting minutiae of early Kingsport, for example the volunteer fire department, early sources of water, and the installation of electrical wiring.
