View of 100 block of Broad Street. Several businesses are shown including Jimmies, Singer Sewing Machine Company, U.S. Loan office, De Luxe Beauty Salon, and Dougherty-Roller. The office of Dr. J. Atlee Flora was located on the top floor of the building on the left; a dentist and law office were located upstairs in the building on the right. Singer Sewing Machine Company, located at 128 Broad, was managed by Walter B. Wilkinson. De Luxe Beauty Salon, located at 105 Broad, was owned by Mrs. Bernice M. Gaybolt. Dougherty-Roller, located at 101-103 Broad Street, was owned by J. Thomas Roller. The business provided real estate loans and insurance.
