Suggest An Item For Purchase

Before submitting a suggestion, please search our catalog to see if the item is already available.

This form is intended for items you personally would like to borrow from the library. Suggestions based on general recommendations or titles you have already read may not be considered for purchase.

Items with a publication date older than one year are generally not added to the collection. However, we may be able to obtain older titles through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) from another library.

If a requested item is readily available through Interlibrary Loan, we may request it from another library rather than purchase a copy.

Due to budget and collection guidelines, not all suggestions can be added to the collection.

To help us process requests efficiently:

• Please submit only one suggestion per week

• Complete the form as fully as possible

Authors and publishers:
This form is intended for patrons requesting items they would like to borrow. Authors or publishers who would like to recommend a title for the library’s collection should use the Local Author & Publisher Submission Form. We especially welcome recommendations from local authors and creators.
