This collection of Dobyns-Bennett school materials and postcards of Kingsport, Tennessee come from the personal materials of A.B. Akard. Akard graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1937. Materials include a 1937 yearbook, graduation related program materials, student activity programs, and 4 postcards taken from Cement Hill sometime around early 1916. Images show the area that became downtown Kingsport.
