The Kingsport Education Association is a local affiliate of the Tennessee Education Association. The Tennessee Education Association aims to promote, advance and protect public education, the education profession, and the rights and interests of their members.

The Kingsport Education Association Collection contains one report of the legislative and welfare committee and yearbooks and directories from the Association. The yearbooks and directories contain names of members, information on the Kingsport Board of Education, the Tennessee Education Association, and The National Education Association.
