SCOPE AND CONTENT

The collection contains a sign from the Kingsport Press Strike. On the back of the sign is a drawing of JFK “calling” an end to the strike. The strike sign belonged to Luke L. McAmis, Jr. who worked at the Kingsport Press until the strike. It is not known who drew on the sign.
