ABSTRACT:
The J. Fred McConnell interview concerning David C. Hull consists of one transcript and one audiocassette tape. In the interview, McConnell describes the work of Dave Hull at Tennessee Eastman and Texas Eastman. Hull started working for Eastman in 1931 and soon became superintendent of the Acid Division within the Acetic Anhydride Department. McConnell worked underHull for twenty-years and considered many of Eastman’s accomplishments during that time to be a result of his boss’s drive and intelligence.
