ABSTRACT:
This collection consists of one report prepared by M.L. West, Chief Operator of the Water Purification Plant, in December 1946 on the condition of Kingsport, Tennessee’s water system.  The report was prepared in compliance with the certification system of the Tennessee Department of Public Health.  While the study examines contemporary conditions of the system, Mr. West also includes historical information on the creation of city’s water system.
